Side Effects

Reductil can cause some people to have side effects ranging from very mild to in some minor number of cases quite severe. Although very uncommon these usually occur early on in the Reductil treatment and can include loss of appetite, constipation and a dry mouth. These usually wear off a while after you start taking it.

Some other less common side effects that may occur include: headache, increased sweating, an increase in blood pressure, and an increase in heart rate. These side effects are generally mild, and do not usually cause people to stop taking Reductil. If you develop a symptom that you think might be a side effect and feel uncomfortable you should consult your doctor as soon as possible.

Reductil should not be used by pregnant women or mothers who are breast feeding as this can be dangerous to yourself and your child. If you think you are pregnant you should take a pregnancy test before beging a course of Reductil.

During any consultation with a doctor about Reductil you should inform them of any current medication that you take as you may find that it cannot be taken in combination with your current prescription. Should you be prescribed any new medication during the course of taking Reductil you should inform the person that you are taking Reductil.

If at any time during the course of your Reductil treatment you feel unwell you should seek medcial advice as a matter of urgency. It is always advisable to take any medication you are on with you of you feel unwell as this will help determine if the Reductil is the cause of your problems.
